Spring 2021 • Friday Teen Adventures • Fridays, March 5 - May 28, with a break on April 21 (11 days total, not including additional campout days). Students that do not attend the optional campout will also have a break on May 21.
Optional Overnight Campout: Friday May 21 - Sunday May 23. Cost of campout not included in Full Tuition, must be purchased as an add-on later. Full details TBD.
This class is designed to answer the Call of the Wild in the hearts of teens. The yearning to stretch their legs and discover what the world has to offer. Each week teens will hop in our passenger van and head out for a new adventure. One day they may find themselves enjoying the amazing views of Black Balsam as they harvest wild edibles. The next week they’re knee deep in the waters of the Big Ivy River, fishing for trout. Whatever the adventure, you can be sure it will be epic. This program is led by long-time instructor Grant Adkisson.
Drop-off & Pick-up for this program is only at Haw Creek Commons, with passenger van transportation to a variety of wilderness locations in the Asheville area.
