No School / No Worries!

 

Forest Floor is excited to partner with Asheville schools to provide safe, fun, nature-based programs for kids on school holidays and teacher work days.

This program is for 8-12 year olds and is held at Haw Creek Commons from 9-3.

 Through games, stories, songs and exploration children learn:

 

Outdoor Safety and Awareness   •   Animal Tracking   •   Edible and Medicinal Wild Plants

Wilderness Survival Skills   •   Bird Language   •   Ancient Crafts

Ecology   •   Community   •   Self-Discovery, and much more


Forest Floor has been providing nature connection education and mentoring in Asheville since 2011. We host weekly homeschool programs, exciting summer camps, in-school programs in public schools, and weekend workshops throughout the year. We are thrilled to be able to support working parents and connect with kids through our No School / No Worries program this year!

 

Flexible drop-off: 8:30- 9am

Flexible pick-up: 3:00-3:30pm

Pick up and drop off at Haw Creek Commons. Feel free to park at Haw Creek Elementary and walk your child over, if that is easier for you.
