Fall 2022 • Friday Blacksmithing • Ages 12-16 • Fridays, September 9 - December 16, with breaks on the weeks of October 3-9(for Earthskills Rendezvous) & November 21-27(for Thanksgiving) [13 program days total]
Students will gain a foundation in the art of creating useful tools by heating metal in the forge and shaping it on the anvil. Many techniques will be explored, and students will come home with beautiful and functional hand-made items.
