2024 Summer Camps

Important Note on Drop-off/Pick-up Location & Shuttle Service

We have a new system for securing a spot in our passenger vans.

The default drop-off/pick-up spot for all camps located at Shope Creek Wilderness is directly at Shope Creek(see camp description for which location its at).  BUT, there are limited spaces available in our shuttle vans, which allows for drop-off/pick-up at our in-town location of Haw Creek Commons.  Shuttle vans provide campers transportation from Haw Creek Commons to Shope Creek in the morning, and back to Haw Creek Commons for pick-up at the end of the day.

 

Shuttle van seats must be signed up for independent of your camp and are listed at the top of each weeks camps below.  Be sure to add the shuttle van to your cart and checkout with it to secure a spot in the van for your camper.

Van seats must be registered for EACH WEEK your child is in camp if you want to drop-off/pick-up at Haw Creek Commons.

 

Shuttle Vans do have a waitlist, but we can't guarantee a spot will become available.  So if the Shuttle Van is listed as full for any given week and your child's participation in camp is dependent on a seat in the van we encourage you to choose a different week of camp.

 

No van seats saved for Waitlists.  Shuttle Vans seats are only available if your child is actually enrolled in a camp, not on the waitlist.  If you're on the waitlist for a camp and a spot opens up, we'll let you know at that time if there are any seats available on the shuttle van.

 

Exceptions:  Camps that only occur and drop/pick at Haw Creek Commons and thus DO NOT utilize the shuttle van include:

  • Run Wild!
  • Forest Guardians Boffing Camp
  • All Blacksmithing & Knifemaking

Open Enrollment begins Tuesday February 6th at Noon

The Lottery Phase of registration runs February 1st-4th, with password protected access, a limit of 2 camps per child, and no waitlists available.  On February 6th at Noon Open Enrollment begins.  With Open Enrollment:

  • Password protection is removed
  • 2 camp limit is lifted
  • Waitlist for all camps become available
