Are you ready to take the next step from camper to mentor? The Forest Floor Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is an exciting opportunity for teens ready to lead, teach, and inspire the next generation of nature explorers!
Your journey begins with an action-packed week of training, where you’ll join a small group to learn the art of coyote mentoring—a unique way of teaching through curiosity, storytelling, and adventure. Then, you'll put your skills to the test by assisting for two weeks of summer camp, working alongside experienced staff to set personal leadership goals, like:
🔥 Telling a captivating story during morning circle
🎯 Leading a game that gets everyone moving
🔥 Starting a fire using a bow drill
🌲 Teaching hands-on wilderness skills
This camp includes an overnight campout with dinner and breakfast on Thursday!
